I managed to "fix" this issue. All I did was change the model in the
config
file. It origanlly was e1000. I changed it to net_2k and now it works ok.

Any ideas why the e1000 didn't work properly?
Using Xen 3.4.3

I always use type=ioemu instead for HVM and didn't encounter any
issues. No PV driver.

Hi There,

I use that as well, but I also specify a model

I skipped model as throughout my test for all HVM guests... rhel6,
windows xp, windows vista, windows 7, win2k3 and windows 2008 all
working fine even with antispoof enabled (need to patch though).
However, for FreeBSD might need it though. Sorry didn't test much in
Xen HVM for FreeBSD as I test in KVM (sorry little off-topic)... ...

Kindest regards,

No need to appoligse :) I believe they both use qemu anyways for the HVM stuff, so it's probably the same result..
Hmm, by not specifying a model, what model does the HVM guest get?

Thanks
