Re: [Xen-users] Wake on Lan not working on virtualized host
Hi Christian,
Thank you for the reply. Even i thought so and i was trying to get the machine up by sending magic packets using the eth0 mac address.
But unfortunately it isn't working.
The other doubt i have is, when Xen is installed on a machine, the eth0 is copied to the peth0, but in my machine there are no virtual interfaces with the same mac address as of the eth0.
I'm not sure where the problem is, please help.
Thanks in advance,

You are trying to turn on a computer, so it has nothing to do with Xen... Cristian. 2010/7/2 Bharanidharan Narayanaswamy <bharanitn@xxxxxxxxx>
Hi,
I'm running Xen on Centos (host machine) and have configured a windows guest in it. I have written some scripts to start the windows guest once the host machine is started.
I'm facing some issues when i try to start the host machine using WOL.
I feel that there must be some configuration issues in the network bridge, it would be great if some one can help.
The host machine has dual interfaces.
Thanks in advance, Burny |
