RE: [Xen-users] XCP: Will not boot after clean install
Under some circumstancens there’s some problem with the initrd’s
nash which doesn’t quit clean. A questionable, but working solution is to:
kill -9 `pidof nash`
Just installed XCP
0.1.1 with verified media on an intel 64 bit dual core machine 8gb ram, local
sata disks. installer boots fine
and runs fine sees all hardware and installs great. when rebooting i see
the cloud splash screen and about 10% of the status bar loads then eventually
it goes to black screen similar to a redhat bootup and hangs after setting the
hostname.
INFO:
task nash: 5567 blocked for more than 120 seconds.
"Echo
0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message.
cannot
get past this and have tried installing and wiping disks 3 times now.
