The machine is a Dell Optiplex 755, and I'm using the on-board video adapter, 
an Intel Q35 Express.  lspci shows it as:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82Q35 Express Integrated 
Graphics Controller (rev 02)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation 82Q35 Express Integrated Graphics 
Controller (rev 02)
