I'm having issues when working with iptables modules in multiples domU
(ARCH 386) and the dom0 (ARCH amd64). I'd appreciate some opinions and
comments. My question are:

1. Is better to install domU the same ARCH that dom0? better
perfmomance? pros or cons?
2. In case I have a dom0 (my case) running adm64 and all domU (i386)
can I install another kernel 386 in domU to get iptables working
properly? It's because I'm gertting errors like this:

vpsXXX:~# iptables -L
iptables v1.3.6: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Bad file descriptor
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

It's a bit curious, iptables on this vps was working for a long long
time until one day. I don't know what happened. I didn't upgrade
kernel in dom0.

3. If I'm running iptables on a i386 domU do I need a new i386 kernel
or can I use the same kernel of dom0 located in /var/lib/xxxxx of
domU?

thanks in advance.
regards

Israel.
