Hi,
I just upgrade the kernel on my gentoo to 2.6.29-xen-r4.
it's installed in a machine with two xeon quad core.
When I use more than 6 cores the max cpu usage go down for all cores around 40%
If I reboot the same machine with old kernel 2.6.21 there isn't this problem.

If I kill one cat and remain only 5 running "cat /dev/urandom > /dev/null" this is the result: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/534/htop2629a.png
With 8 cat: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/4244/htop2629c.png
It's a strange thing because with kernel 2.6.21 there isn't any problem: htop show me all 8 cores at 100% when I run 8 cat...
Howto fix the problem in xensource-2.6.29-r4?
