Hi,

I've tried to figure this one out for the past few days, but I just can't. The problem is rather simple, everything works fine, but I can't ping this specific IP address (192.168.0.21), from Dom0 or DomUs. This IP address is an HP printer (JetDirect card)

  Here are the details:

-Using xen-3.0.3-80.el5_3.3 on RHEL5
-eth0 is linked to xenbr0
-eth1 is linked to xenbr1 (which has 192.168.0.171)
-iptables -L shows nothing (I disabled it)
-ip6tables -L shows nothing (I disabled it)
-route shows correct route from 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 -> eth1
-arping -I eth1 192.168.0.21 shows the mac address and a response time -around 1 ms -One of the DomU is my nagios server, and I can monitor all the service I want, except a service on 192.168.0.21 -I cannot access any service on this IP (port 21, 80, 280, 443, 515, 631 and 9100 shows as open when nmapped from a different computer)
-There is no firewall between my Xen host and the HP printer

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Ugo
