Hi Pawel,
Thanks for the help but unfortunately using the UUID behaves no
differently to using the VM name.
I did find out what was wrong though using the command you sent
me, virt-install has tried to use a bridge that does not exist on my setup, I
have since created a para virtual VM with virt-install specifying the bridge
and this new VM works fine. Unfortunately the “mg4” VM is still
stuck.
Thanks again,
Rob

Hi All,
I have a domain that will not destroy or delete. Destroying gives no
error, deleting gives the error "Error: Domain is not halted." And
start
gives this error "Error: Domain is already running".
mg4
1024 1
0.0
The domain was created with this command but crashed early in the
install process:
virt-install -n mg4 -r 1024 --vnc --vncport=5918 --noautoconsole
--os-type=rhel5 -p -l
http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/mirror.centos.org/5.3/os/x86_64/
I have tried restarting the xend service. Does anyone have any ideas on
how to get rid of this Domu?
Find PID:
#ps aux | grep mg4
and kill -9 it...
