Hello,

I wanted to let you know that a new version of OpenNebula is available
for general consumption. This software lets you drive a cluster
configured with Xen hypervisor and centralize the management of
virtual machines.

The OpenNebula team is pleased to announce the
availability of OpenNebula 1.2 (a.k.a. "Tarantula"**). OpenNebula 1.2 is an
important milestone for the project that marks that most of the components are
now in place and functional. OpenNebula 1.2 builds on the state-of-the-art
technology for the distributed management of virtual infrastructures
introduced with OpenNebula 1.0, and it brings important improvements in the
following areas:

 * Network Management
 * Image Management
 * Scalability and Robustness
 * Configuration and Installation
 * Documentation

The OpenNebula team would like to thank everyone that sent comments, reported
bugs and provide patches. It definitely helped to get a better OpenNebula 1.2.
Specially, we would like to thank the great labour done by Soren Hansen,
reflected in submitted patches that helped to get OpenNebula closer to work
with Ubuntu and Debian and cleared subtle important issues.

The OpenNebula Team.

region in the Large Magellanic Cloud. See:
