Bad news, looks like the Centos Xen kernel doesn't recognize XFS but the standard Centos kernel does.

When i did a yum install kmod-xfs, it also downloaded the latest 

I hope I am wrong.

Any ideas?

Because it's not a part of Redhat EL5. If it were added to the upstream provider then it would be added to CentOS.
