A few answers:

o) Yes, running SP2...
o) ...and pre-18 drivers make no difference....
o) ... and the most I can tell you about used IRQs are the ones for the
primary (14) and secondary (15) IDE  channels (but these are well known
methinks). As stated before, the property page for the SCSI/PCI driver
says "Not enough resources. You have to unload another driver etc." If
there is another way to find the info you need, I will have to be
supplied with a click-by-click "idiot guide"...
