In
the name of Allah the most Gracious the Most Merciful
It
is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when ye knew
nothing; and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections:
that ye may give thanks to Allah.
Qur’an
(An-Nahl) 78
The Qur'an, this extraordinary
book which was revealed to the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (pbuh), is a
source of inspiration and true knowledge. The book of Islam is being proved
as Allah's word as each new piece of historical, scientific or
archaeological information comes to light. Facts about scientific subjects
and the news delivered to us about the past and future, facts that no one
could have known at the time of the Qur'an's revelation, are announced in
its verses. It is impossible for this information, examples in this book,
to have been known with the level of knowledge and technology available in
7th century Arabia. That is a big evidence that the Qur’an is truly
the revelation sent down by Allah, the Lord of this universe.
From the words of Allah in the
holy book (the Qur’an)
In the name
of Allah the most Gracious the Most Merciful
Praise be to
Allah, Who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no
Crookedness:
(He hath made
it) Straight (and clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a
terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the
Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward:
Wherein they shall remain forever:
Further, that
He may warn those (also) who say, "(Allah) hath begotten a
son":
No knowledge
have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. It is a grievous thing
that issues from their mouths as a saying what they say is nothing but
falsehood!
Qur’an
(Al-Kahf) 1-5
Blessed is He
who sent down the criterion to His servant, that it may be an admonition
to all creatures;-
He to whom
belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He
begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all
things, and ordered them in due proportions.
Qur’an
(Al-Forqaan) 1-2
Do they seek
for other than the Religion of Allah.-while all creatures in the heavens
and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam),
and to Him shall they all be brought back.
Say (O
Muhammad): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and
that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and
the tribes, and that which was vouchsafed unto Moses and Jesus and the
prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and
unto Him we have surrendered.
And whoso
seeketh as religion other than Islam (the Surrender to Allah) it will not
be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the
Hereafter.
O ye who
believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state
of Islam.
