Errhh this really spoils my plans for my media server being a domU. I tested w/ 
iperf and was only getting 71.4 mbs 

[  3] local 192.168.1.3 port 54284 connected with 192.168.1.100 port 5001
[ ID] Interval       Transfer     Bandwidth
[  3]  0.0-10.0 sec  85.2 MBytes  71.4 Mbits/sec

Is there any way I can increase the through put on a network device like this?
