I'm doing an RH install through DVD iso and the cdrom is terribly slow and has 
timeouts.

CPU: nothing
LOAD: unmentionable
IOWAIT: neglectingly low

strangely enough, a windows install from iso went quite fast. unless i did 
something wrong when rebooting it and putting in colo.
