If anyone has access to both a RHEL system where the xenhide.sys pci ide
device hiding doesn't work, and an alternate Linux system (Debian?)
where the xenhide.sys driver does what it is supposed to do, I'd
appreciate some assistance...
Firstly, can anyone suggest a tool that will dump out all the hardware
config info? Basically everything you see under the hardware manager, in
particular the Hardware Ids, Compatible Ids, etc, and also all the
registry info about what is attached to what.
Failing that, can someone export the whole of
HLKM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum from a non-working (eg where
xenhide.sys doesn't do its thing) system, without GPLPV having been
specified, zip it up, and send it to me? If you can then put the same VM
on another system where xenhide.sys works, and export it again, also
without specifying GPLPV, it would also help.
Thanks
James
