... and forget about the fact it's a windows domU. The cdrom config should be
the same.
Also, you could just as easily install from the network via HTTP. Almost all
the Linux flavors offer a directory named "OS" on their mirror sites to which
you can point your install program. (Worked with CentOS 5 for me...)

Does anyone know of a guide that explains how to install Linux from a CD
ISO in a DomU (I've seen a few blogs about it, but the procedure isn't
clear). As I understand it, I will be running the DomU in HVM mode at
that point, correct?
