Are there any caveats to running 32-bit guests on a 64-bit host?

I have a 64-bit host which is running over ten guests that are 64-bit
installs but I'm trying to paravirtualize a 32-bit RHEL3 and RHEL 5
and getting boot errors where the kernel can't find superblocks in the
root filesystem and a kernel oops respectively. I thought 64-bit
hosts can run either 32 or 64-bit guests since 3.0.1 or so. The
64-bit host has the latest F7 files, sorry I don't have version
numbers, the machine is inaccessible to me at the moment.

I'm still working on those particular problems and haven't decided to
ask for help specifically but I'm trying to divide and conquer the
problem.
