Yes - I'm using Debian 4.0 (Etch - x86-64 version).
AFAIK it's possible to create my own Debian installer (at least with a
customized kernel) which would support the new hardware (especially the JMicron
JMB 363 IDE controller on my board is required in order to intall from the DVD
drive).
