Hi Tom,
2007/5/16, Tom Willems <motty85@xxxxxxxxx>:
Hi,
Are there somewhere guidelines for installing xen on a FreeBSD6.2 platform?
FreeBSD 6.2 has no Xen dom0 capabilities. A backport of 6-Stable might
happen at some point in the future, but right now even -current only
has domU support.
Which might be worth a try for you anyway.
The key issue for dom0 port, as far as I know, is the PCI backend
drivers, note that there is also no support for PCI device assignment
to a FreeBSD domU. Also 32bit PAE mode is not supported.
If you do not require this features and know how to run -current, you
might enjoy it a lot.
:)
Or is this OS not supported??
it is definitely not supported.
Florian
