I know I've heard about a second guest causing Ubuntu to crash, but this
it the first guest. It used to run but I added another logical volume
to the disk line for additional disk space and it now crashes.
Here's the difference between the good and bad files:
diff newcentos44 centos44
5c5
< disk = [
'phy:/dev/hda2,sdb1,w','phy:/dev/VolGroup08/LogVol01,sdb2,w','phy:/dev/VolGroup08/LogVol02,sdb3,w','phy:/dev/VolGroup09/VarRoot,sdb4,w']
---
> disk = [
'phy:/dev/hda2,sdb1,w','phy:/dev/VolGroup08/LogVol01,sdb2,w','phy:/dev/VolGroup08/LogVol02,sdb3,w']
/dev/VolGroup09/VarRoot exists, is an empty ext3 partition and e2fsck
says it's clean.
Kernel: Linux version 2.6.17-6-generic-xen0 (root@vernadsky) (gcc
version 4.1.2 20060928 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.1-13ubuntu5)) #3 SMP Mon
Oct 16 06:15:23 UTC 2006 (ubuntu-xen)
Has anyone run into this one before?
Thanks,
Jim.
