Hello,

is there a way to get solaris running in a full virt domain?

I' ve tried an cdimage-base installation of solaris 10 06/06 and 11/06.
After choosing the 1st entry of the grubmenu, a line of dots is shown (kernel
load?)
Thats all.

my configuration:

gentoo based dom0
xen-3.0.4

cfg-file used:

kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
builder = "hvm"
name = "solaris"
memory = 1024
acpi = 0
#vif = [ 'type=ioemu, mac=00:16:3E:00:00:05' ]
disk = [
'file:/mnt/ext/1/solaris/x86/Solaris10_11_06/sol-10-u3-ga-x86-dvd-iso,ioemu:hdc:cdrom,r','file:/root/solaris,ioemu:hda,w'
 ]
boot = "d"
device_model = "/usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm.debug"
vnc = 0
vncviewer = 0
sdl = 1

Thank you,
mfz_me
