I'm using xen 3.0.3 compiled from source, and installed on Debian etch.
I googled this, and looked in the list, and it seems perhaps I am missing
Unless you like kernel debugging, don't do this. Get the downloadable RPM's for RedHat Enterprise 4 and use those: the 3.0.4 RPM's are available now.

Even if you want to build your own, it's extremely useful to go over the SRPM .spec files and look at the '%install' and post-install steps.
