Hi all,
I have a problem during the lauching of my first virtual image.
First thing : domain 0 is on fedora core 6 (probably a xen package made in fedora :-S, sorry ...)
Second thing : the error is really traditional (i already had it with uml) but there i am blocking.
here my config file (for image on logical volume, swap too)
root = "/dev/sda1 ro"
[root@p-virtvip8 xen]# cat p-virtser9
kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen"
initrd = "/boot/initrd- 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen.img"
memory = 100
name = "p-virtvip9"
vif = ['mac=00:16:3E:10:10:09, bridge=xenbr0', 'mac=00:16:3E:20:00:09, bridge=xenbr1']
disk = ['phy:VG1_XenBackend/RHEL4_root_vip9,sda1,w', 'phy:VG1_XenBackend/RHEL4_swap_vip9,sda2,w']
root = "/dev/sda1 ro"

The log is :
[root@p-virtvip8 linux-2.6.19]# xm create -c /etc/xen/p-virtser9
Using config file "/etc/xen/p-virtser9".

The kernel is ok, it seems my sda hd was not detected. However I chroot my logical volume and create an initrd.

The command i used to generate the inirtd (within chroot) :
mkinitrd /tmp/image 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen

Then exit and copy the image in /boot/initrd-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen.img

Thanks 4 any help.
