Hi All,

yesterday and the day before I incountered a weird situation.

I've got 2 servers running Xen installed as stated in the subject, and
both needed to be restarted due to hanging and not being able to launch
any applications (not even bash). The machines kept answering to ping
and telnet to specific service ports, but e.g. ssh was not able to give
me a password prompt. I asked to colocation center operator what he saw
on the terminal before resetting it, and all he got was a normal login
prompt, but the machine was not responing to any keyboard strokes.

The last thing I was doing before the machine going mad was copying a
~1X MB file from a domU to the dom0. I've got a network setup where a
bridge exists on the dom0 including several virtual network backends,
and the bridge itself has an address assigned, so that the dom0 can be
addressed from within a guest.

If anyone can give me a hint on where to start debugging, it'd be very
much appreciated.

Cheers,
Ferenc
