Hello everyone:
Last week I learnt to install Xen on
RHEL4. The virtual system is Fedora5. I can run it now,but I met
several questions. I hope you can help me deal with them.
First: When I use the
command "usr/sbin/xm create -c /boot/fc5vm.cfg" to startup Fedora5, it
always display this wrong message before the system startup.
problem: using config file '/boot/fc5vm.cfg'
warning: The nics option is deprecated, please use an empty vif
entry instead:
vif =
['']
Error:[2,'No
such file or directory']
although it display this wrong
message,it can boot the fedora5 on Xen.
Second: If I want to
build multi-OS on Xen,Am I need to build several partition on my disk? For
example:hda5 for the first fedora5,hda6 for second fedora5. For the moment I
only know boot first fedora5 on terminal one, boot second fedora5 on terminal
two,but there are only 7 terminals we can use.If I want simulate a cluster which
include more than 7 nodes on Xen,the terminals are not enough,so how to
deal with this problem?
Third: Can
one terminal only boot one virtual OS?
Fourth: The virtual OS use
the physical swap partition. If we have two virtual OS now, does these two OS
share the physical swap partition or not? This is my last question!
Thansk for all your helps. Plz reply
soon!!!
