I too have seen this failure in attempting to install RH 7.3 using text

Subject: [Xen-users] Installing Redhat 7,3 with hvm
Hi,
Has anyone installed Redhat 7.3 in hvm environment? When I tried, the
install screen came up and closed shortly after hit Return at prompt.
You may be able to get away with it if you use "nogfx" or whatever the
option is for "text" installation [no graphics]. I'm not making any
guarantees tho'.

Mats
The machine has no problem with hvm setup since Windows XP works fine
on it.
Any help is appreciated.
