if I uncomment the vif='' line I have the same problem
mi01:/usr/src/xen-3.0.2# xm create testVM
Using config file "/etc/xen/testVM".
Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.
so I think the problem is not related with lvm or block device access, it seem
to be hotplug .. but Hot to solve?
