Nope, nothing and nothing changes with that option on the kernel command line.

It's an option to keep the keep the kernel from rebooting, right ?

According to the manual: "Don't reboot the machine automatically on
errors. This is useful to catch debug output if you aren't catching
console messages via the serial line."

But it has the side effect of not letting you reboot _at_all_
(i.e. `init 6` will not cause a reboot). An omission in the
manual IMO.
