Hi there,

I´m running xen-3 unstable with kernel source pulled from mercurial repository a couple of weeks ago. I´m hiding a few PCI devices from Dom0 using the pci.hide option but hotplug still can find the devices, is this supposed to happen? To be on safe side I´m blacklisting those devices in Dom0 hotplug configuration. I just saw that the PCI hiding configuration was removed from the online manual (am I right?), and looking at the configuration examples I´m guessing that there is another way of doing this. So far pci hiding is working well.

I was thinking about hiding a sata controller from Dom0 and using it in one DomU running a file server. From my initial tests it seems to work. Should I expect a better performance doing this, or using the VBD is a better option?

thanks in advance,

Christian Lyra
