For that application I'd suggest you use vmware or the free (as in beer) 
vmware-player.

windows will have a much better graphics performance since vmware installs its 
own optimized video drivers into windows, you can share the mouse cursor + 
keyboard, and maximize the window on only one screen of a xinerama setup.
