getprop 0x80795e8 device_type -> 0x29 (chrp we are not, but smart yaboot is not) Glad you enjoy it. device_type has to start with "chrp" or otherwise (some versions of) yaboot assume your machine is a mac, and things blow up after that. Hence this evil workaround. I recently changed it so it is not so yoda-speak anymore, and perhaps a bit more descriptive, btw. And a big huge fat source code comment, but you don't see that, sigh.
