I just pushed a big painful merge with the latest xen unstable tree. I've seen 
one crash while dom0 was sitting idle but couldn't reproduce it; let me know 
if you see anything like that (with GDB backtrace would be the most helpful).

The GDB stub became optional upstream, both at compile time and runtime. I've 
unconditionally built it in, but to enable it at runtime you need a "gdb=" 
argument. Here's what I'm using at the PIBS prompt:
        set openfirmware=bootargs=foo gdb=com1 -- root=/dev/hda3
