Hi!

I've got xen from http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/xen-ia64-unstable.hg
, compiled everything and..
the problem is that no matter if I do a PAE kernel or non-PAE, the
result is after decompressing kernel, the screen goes black, the cursor
flashes on the screen left-bottom, and it hangs.
Anybody had similar issue?
I've tried to modify kernel a bit, running a dom0 only, or dom0+domU
kernel, no results.
Configuration:
Intel IA-64 Itanium 2
4GB RAM

Thanks!

Greets,
Radek

Hi Radek,

I don't understand what you mean with PAE on ia64, but maybe you didn't use the extented elilo to start the hypervisor and later linux + initrd.
Please see an earlier mail on the list discussing a similar problem.

Hello,
I think I've done that.
Check this out.

This is debian unstable.

Thanks,
Radek
