One more thought.

I think the current status (ie using linux serial driver) is OK:
* linux works well
* we have Xen messages

The only drawback is Xen do not disable output if vga console is used (Am I 
correct ?)

I think only developper are interested in Xen keytable.  If a developper want 
to use keytable, s/he has to rebuild the kernel.
