Thanks, I looked something deeper and found that com1 is:
# cat /proc/tty/driver/serial:
...
0: uart:16550A mmio:0xFF5E0000 irq:50 tx:7832 rx:0 RTS|CTS|DTR|CD
...

So I changed my elilo.conf with:
append="com1=115200,8n1,0xff5e0000,50 console=com1 sched=bvt -- nomca
console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200 root=/dev/sda3"

Now I can see all the (XEN)... messages.
But now hangs the boot of dom0. The last messages I see are:
...
Kernel command line: nomca console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200 root=/dev/sda3 ro
PID hash table entries: 4096 (order: 12, 131072 bytes)
Console: colour VGA+ 80x25
Running on Xen! start_info_pfn=0x13dc nr_pages=0 flags=0x3
xen-event-channel using irq 233
Dentry cache hash table entries: 131072 (order: 6, 1048576 bytes)
Inode-cache hash table entries: 65536 (order: 5, 524288 bytes)
Placing software IO TLB between 0x10f70000 - 0x14f70000
Memory: 435072k/523264k available (10088k code, 87584k reserved, 4318k data,
288k init)
Leaving McKinley Errata 9 workaround enabled

Here it stops and never gets further. I must reset the machine.
Thanks.

Dietmar.
