I found and checked in a workaround.  Tip seems to
work now.

I want to add Arun's patch to allow compiling on gcc3.4
and merge up to the xen-unstable changes over the
weekend, then would like to get some final testing
(including CONFIG_VTI) and ask Keir to pull in the
latest xen-ia64-unstable into xen-unstable.
