normalement quand tu lances un vncserver, il te générère un display virtuel. Si mes souvenirs sont bons, sur ubuntu quand X se lance il détecte tout seul les bonnes conf, non ?
Donc pour moi si tu as bien installé ton server X et un WindowManager , tu as juste à lancer vncserver et à te connecter sur ip_do_domU port_du_vncserver
