Uhm. You can't mix xm/xend and xl! If you use xl, then you can't use xm/xend at 
the same time.

Since xl create and xl console do not work on my config, I was using xm to create the domains, and xl for managing since it's faster than xm. I will stop doing that. I have seen serveral postings on the net of people trying both tools when troubleshooting.
