Yes.  IIRC you can invoke a command using an unambiguous prefex of two letters 
or more.  So you can do:

xm li
xm lis
xm list

and get the same result.

xm l

Is too short so it won't work.

But,

xm block- will not work, as it's ambigous which of the various xm block-* 
commands you meant to invoke.
