Alternatives are to place a copy of the headers in tools space (a bit pointless while it shares a repository with Xen, but easy to do if it moves to a separate one) or add wrapper structures for everything (a pain in the ass for not much benefit that I can see).

About privcmd.h, the users of it are making hypercalls that aren't exposed through libxenctrl. Those users probably ought to add the appropriate plumbing to libxenctrl. This includes the ACM stuff, xenmon/xentrace, and xenstat.

I strongly agree.
