Hi dbarrera@xxxxxxxxxx,

you posted on bugzilla that bug number 176
(unable to boot domU). I just downloaded the latest
patchset (hg pull -u , 25th Aug. 2005 23:55) and
i still get:

xen_blk: Initialising virtual block device driver
   xen_blk: Timeout connecting to device!
   ...
VFS: Cannot open root device "hda1" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Where can i get the the latest patch set?

hg. :-)

Or is bug 176 still not resolved?

It has been resolved. I am not seeing the VFS panic anymore. I am building the Xen kernels without the NETGRANT TX/RX options off.

Kind regards,

Robin van Leeuwen
