There is something wrong with the time interface.  The xenlinux
kernel comes up and thinks it is january 1st, 1970.   Stick a
"date" command into some boot script which runs early to see
that.  Result is that linux thinks it has to check the root
filesystem all the time when switching between native and
xenified linux kernels ...
