Ok, that's fine.  So keep dist as a default target.  But that doesn't preclude
a separate build target.

I agree, that if build is separate, and you have to make runs, then the second
run will do a little bit of busy work, as it attempts to see if things are out
of date.  However, if you just run dist anyways, then there is no perceptible
slowdown.

ps: Your mail client is breaking threading; it's not setting References
correctly.
