Hello,

I am reading some Virtual Machine papers, and found that VMWare has
patented certain technology named MultipleWorlds. Anybody please tell
me exactly what that MultipleWorlds is about? And is that only
technology patentd by them?

One more question: VMWare use dynamic binary translator to emulate
some "sensitive" instructions. If so, why their softwares are not
always compatible with OSes? Is that because their solution is not
perfect? (For example I remembered VMWare Workstation didnt support
WinXP when WinXP first released. Only after sometime, they upgraded
their software to support it)

Thank you,
AQ
