[Xen-devel] Tracing in new xend
|
Anyone interested in seeing execution traces for the new xend
controller damon can now start it as 'xend trace_start'. This will
cause a trace file to be created (/var/log/xend.trace) which contains
a neatly laid-out line-by-line execution trace. The only things that
are excluded are:
 1. Calls into library functions (including twisted)
 2. Calls to the sxpr parser. xend seems to spend the majority of its
execution time here, which inflates traces by a factor of 20.
