I just discovered something that might be linked to this problem.

I have another environment (X86 / Kernel 2.6.27 / Xen 3.4.2), which started to
have problems of the same kind when I upgraded udev from 151 to 156...

Unfortunately I wasn't be able to test udev-151 on the x86_64 env and I won't
be during at least one more week, but I'll let you know if that helped.
