This is also happening to me on an IBM xSeries 345 with two 3.06GHZ Xeons,
fresh install.  Full dmesg below.  I have 4GB ram.  Kernel name
2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 on K12LTSP (Fedora Core 6), stock kernel.
The soft lockup detected on CPU # changes after each reboot.  Sometimes 1,
sometimes 3, 2, or 0.  I have done the exact same on two other xSeries 345's
with no issues.  One is type 8670-51X, the other is 8670-71X.  The one I am
reporting the bug for is an 8670-71X.

This is for the host -- pre-virtualization, so this isn't a Xen issue!  I'm
posting so it here because of similar errors others have posted for this bug.
