           Summary: Eth0 disappeared after booting XEN-3.0.3 dom0 (x86_64)
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Hardware Support
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: hans.lampl@xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm trying to install a XEN-3.0.3 (x86_64) dom0 on a Dell Precision 390 running
Ubuntu 6.10.

Everything seem to work fine, but the netcard interface (eth0) for the Broadcom
tg3 driver disappeared after booting the XEN kernel. The driver (it is working
without any problem with "not XEN" kernels) was loaded, but I cannot find an
eth0 directory in /sys/class/net as expected. "ifconfig" only shows the
loopback interface. I can unload the tg3 driver and reload it using modprobe
without getting any (error-) message (and of course without getting an eth0
interface).

The same happens when running XEN-3.0.3 with Centos 4.4.
