           Version: 3.0.1
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Tools
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: PottyOtter@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi, I have located a glitch in the install.sh script

After using the install.sh some directories on my system have a new owner: 94,
group: 141. This causes alot of problems for programs that need to access these
core directories.

tarball name: xen-3.0.1-install-x86_32.tgz

OS: CentOS 4.2 final - NO UPDATES
I performed the Xen install right after booting.

Reproducible: Yes, multiple times

I was not "su" as root, I was logged in as root the entire time.

here is a "/" directory listing post using ./install.sh

I did install bridge-utils and sysfsutils, but I can confirm it is the install
script doing these changes.

Here is a kickstart file of my installation of the OS:
