OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P3

AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,
as someone else already described in
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.xen.user/6665
the configuration option CONFIG_UNIX98_PTYS is not set if
CONFIG_XEN_UNPRIVILEGED_GUEST is set. This leads to a xenU kernel being built
without devpts. Debian based guest OSes (ubuntu in my case) cannot be accessed
with SSH
debug1: session_input_channel_req: session 0 req pty-req
debug1: Allocating pty.
openpty: No such file or directory
session_pty_req: session 0 alloc failed
